A share of revenue starts with a contract.

The underlying rights

Creator revenue is not one uniform asset. The agreement determines which income participates, how long the right lasts and how cash reaches the investor.

The same cash flow can be a different investment at a different price.

Price and cash flow

An entry multiple expresses purchase price as a multiple of annual participation cash. Its inverse is the gross entry yield, before fees, expenses or changes in revenue.

Use the participation calculator to explore the arithmetic. Keep position-level gross cash separate from the net cash an LP may receive through the Fund.

Cash distributed and residual value tell different parts of the story.

Model assumptions

The supplied model describes a Day-1 LP over ten years. DPI measures cumulative cash relative to invested capital. TVPI adds estimated residual NAV.

Total value assumes residual NAV can be realized at its carrying value. That estimate is not a market price or guaranteed sale proceeds. The Bear, Base, Target and Bull cases are modeled scenarios, not boundaries on potential losses.

From thesis to diligence

The Fund’s described approach combines revenue diligence, portfolio construction and GP approval. Evaluate those processes alongside the actual agreements and offering documents.

  • How are eligible revenue and payment priority defined?
  • Who verifies revenue, collects cash and oversees valuation?
  • What fees apply to which bases and periods?
  • What conditions limit repurchase requests or underlying asset sales?
